Lara Beach east of Antalya is a long beach of soft waves, dark sand and a few pebbles. Most parts of the beach are of commercial services offers deck chairs, umbrellas, snacks and drinks, showers and maybe even supports some entertainment.
Beach begins east of Antalya Falez , just behind the Lower Duden waterfall. East of the waterfall a point extending into the Gulf of Antalya. Hotels, restaurants and other services host visitors who swim mostly from docks and platforms. The real sand beach on the east side of the start point and extends for several kilometers. The first major installation is Lara Halk Plaji, organized with beach service from the city of Antalya. Beyond this municipal beach are various private commercial installations which bear numbers and fancy names. I would suggest that you first have a look at Lara Beach, and if it fits your needs go further east to find, do it. If you do not rent to find a deck chair and umbrella, or use the other services available, one of the free parts of the beach to spread your beach towel and soak up the sun. Lara Plaji from the center of Antalya can be reached by minibus dolmush. The mini buses run all along the beach until the end of the area public access. The drive from Antalya city center near Kalekapisi at the eastern end of the beach takes about 45 minutes, a few minutes less if you only as far as Lara Beach.
